NBA : Golden State Warriors seventh-time NBA champions and Finals MVP Stephen Curry , who scored 34 points . The Warriors won the final series against the Boston Celtics 4-2 .

6 games they needed , to win the entire NBA league . Because earlier on the way to the championship the Warriors never once had to play seven games in the series. They defeated the Denver Nuggets 4-1, the Memphis Grizzlies 4-2, the Dallas Mavericks 4-1 and finally the Celtics 4-2. It wasn’t an easy contest for them, as they started with a loss at home and after three games it was 2-1 for the Celtics. The Warriors went on to win three consecutive games, including two away victories. The last triumph was the most convincing, as the Warriors led Boston from the end of the first quarter and the visitors’ lead was in double digits most of the time.

This is how I watched this fantastic final on Friday morning . It was the sixth game of the finals of the Golden State Warriors between the Boston Celtics , and the hosts proved to be far superior to the Celtics, and won the entire finals competition 4:2, winning the last three meetings this gave them the advantage.

The first quarter belonged to Boston they started better, as we have already seen in other games . Boston had good three-point shooting from Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, the Bean-Town players got out to a 12:2 lead and coach Steve Kerr asked for a timeout.   Klay Thompson picked up his second foul with just three minutes left in the contest. Coach Kerr exhorted from the sideline for his team to share the ball, instead of scrambling for seconds in one place or senselessly losing balls . The Boston Celtics’ lead dwindled to 4 points when coach Ime Udoka benched Jayson Tatum. He quickly realised that this was not the right decision.

This is how this final series turned out to be unsuccessful , for the Boston Celtics although they went into the lead twice, after the first and third game. In the end, they lost the initiative and were unable to regain it again, although Jaylen Brown (34 points) and Jayson Tatum (13 points) did a great job until the end. In game six, the hero of the first clash, Al Horford (19 points), also reminded of himself, but the support of the whole team was lacking for the distance of the whole series. The Celtics returned to the finals after a 12-year break and this is certainly not their last word.

At the start of the second quarter, the Golden State Warriors quickly built up a lead. All attempts to make contact with the team led by Steve Kerr ended in failure for the Boston Celtics . The Warriors gradually increased the gap and at half-time the scoreboard read 54:39.

It was from the third quarter that the teams exchanged blows from distance again from the first minutes. Al Horford, whose two threes in a row allowed Boston to stay within 16 points, became active. However, with Stephen Curry hitting from 9 metres out to give his team a 22-point lead, one could get the feeling that the victory was slipping away from Boston, but the Boston players still had enough will to fight that the Warriors’ task was not made any easier. Jaylen Brown’s personal 5:0 reduced the loss to 12 points , which once again forced coach Kerr to establish some things with his charges.
