The first half of the clash between hosts Piast Gliwice and Krakow’s Wisła did not provide fans with many emotions. The White Star admittedly already in the first minutes closed the hosts in their own half, but from this domination little resulted. Later on, the game started to be played in the central zone, and both teams had problems with conducting a composed and, most importantly, effective action.
On the guests’ side Yaw Yeboah played well, who in the 32nd minute reached the shooting position, but hit straight to Frantisek Plach.
In the 38th minute Wisła’s midfielder intercepted a pass from Piasta’s stopper to the goalkeeper and moved with the ball, but Plach was one-on-one. The first half was so-so and did not give big attacks and actions, which could have given a goal on both sides. After 45 minutes the meeting ended with the result 0:0.
43 minute Another action of the Spaniard. He found himself in a free position, but at the decisive moment did not hit the ball.
