EBL: It was so close. They could have led to overtime. HydroTruck Radom – Slask Wroclaw 64:67 (12:15, 23:21, 13:12, 16:19).

Today, I write for you about an interesting basketball match that took place over the weekend in Radom between Slask Wroclaw several times I was at matches of the Premier League when we received accreditation from the club for our editorial office, but still in the old hall. Now they have a new place so juz it is officially decided finally have a new hall and played for the first time this basketball match in the new hall Radomskiego Centrum Sportu (RCS Hall) at Struga 63 in the weekend, which can accommodate 5 thousand. spectators. It was opened for the first time on Saturday 11 December as part of the open day for fans and the match between HydroTruck Radom and Slask Wroclaw took place there. Basketball players, Cerrad volleyball players and Radomka volleyball players can play there.

In today’s basketball match of the 14th round in the EBL in the host team debuted Ahmed Hill. The American played for the first time in a European club. He scored seven points and showed some good actions. As said coach Mihajlo Uvalin, Hill arrived to Radom only a few days ago and took part in only two trainings.

Both teams came out on the court strongly determined to win, although who knows if they did not exaggerate a bit, because both needed a little bit of time,
That’s how Radom made history, as it scored the first points in the new venue and it was scored by HydroTruck player Danilo Ostojic. But then the Wrocław team came out on top. The match was very tight. Both teams didn’t start the game well because of ineffective shooting that day as the score indicated 4:6. After more than 6 minutes it was only 6:4 on the board for Silesia and in fact the whole first quarter was not very impressive from that angle. WKS and HydroTruck played great on the defensive end, which inevitably had an impact on the quality of shots. The first quarter ended with a low score of 12:15.

At the beginning of the second quarter Michael Moore was very active and led to a tie. Later in the second quarter Wroclawis were running back to within six points thanks to Jakub Karolak but hosts were still close. After a while Moore even gave HydroTruck the lead! Cyril Langevine later brought the game to a draw and the situation was changed once again by Kodi Justice. Eventually, the first half ended with a score of 35:36.

In this fourth quarter things were happening and it got very hot several times.
Kerem Kanter started the final period with a three-pointer, but then the hosts took the lead. Aces of Mike Moore, Danilo Ostojic and Ahmed Hill gave 4-point lead with less than four minutes to go. They were losing even 59:55 but they made it back thanks to Jakub Karolak three-pointer and Langevine basket. Then Karolak-Langevine duo responded with a three-pointer to give the visitors 62:59 lead. Danilo Ostojić added to the equalizer. These two did the key work in the whole game. With 2 minutes to go WKS was down 62:64, but then the Polish national hit a three-pointer and American played a spectacular alley-oop with Trice. With 19 seconds left he had three more points. Radom managed to pull away to the end and recorded their eighth win of the season. Radom could have gone into overtime but 7 seconds before the end Ireland missed from distance and Radom lost by 3 points 64:67.
