Celebrate Gerry ‘ego Gow – football legends in Bristol.

On Saturday afternoon, July 28 at the stadium Williams Stand was played off memory Gerry`ego Gow. It was a social gathering of football legends from Bristol City and Manchester City.

Gerry Gow debut at Bristol City in 1970 at the age of seventeen and played in the colors of the club’s 375 games. In addition, he played in clubs such as Manchester City and Rotherham United, Burnley, Yeovil Town. The group of Bristol’s most famous celebrities have appeared on the stadium Williams Stand was also invited our compatriot Dariusz Dziekanowski “Jackie”, playing at Bristol City in the years 1992 to 1993 year. After the game, fans can meet with the players, talk to them, get autographs and even take a picture together with the legends of football. At the end of Dariusz Dziekanowski heard again the shouts Dziekanowski, Dziekanowski, Dziekanowski from Polish fans, who came to this meeting from different parts of England to see the Polish player again playing in the colors of Bristol City.

“I would say that the idea of honoring` ego Gerry Gow is a wonderful thing for any athlete. It’s great to be here in such a beautiful day, and once again play with legends of football. I wanted to say again, I would like to play for this club. In the 90s when I was playing at Bristol City it was very good for me, period. I see that all the supporters me mention here well and it really means a lot to me “- told our reporter Dariusz Dziekanowski.

I was seventeen player who played his first match in my life in such a big club as he was Bristol City. I did not expect such a good atmosphere and the reaction of fans. They do not forget about me, despite the passage of this time and after so many years, yet people want to see me. I’m glad that we had such wonderful weather in this beautiful city of Bristol, “- he concluded Gerry Gow.

It is worth noting that during the match also collected donations to help children’s hospice “Chilldren`s Hospice South West.
