NBA : ALL STAR Game in Cleveland RIVALS AT ALL . THEY WILL FACE EACH OTHER AGAIN ON FEBRUARY 10, 2022 EAST AND WEST . NBA: New Rookie Match format. Four teams, three games, Skills Challenge, 3-Point Contest and Slam Dunk

The captains of this year’s All-Star Game and the top five of both Conferences have officially been announced. The selection was 50% decided by fans and the other half was split between journalists(25%) and basketball players(25%) . The NBA Team Kevin Durant between Lebron James All-Star Game will take place on Thursday, February 10 at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time in Cleveland. The main game will take place between East and West on 20.02.2022 rest scheduled for February 18. The All-Star Game will conclude the entire event two days later on 20.02.2022 . In between there will also be a Skills Challenge, 3-Point Contest and Slam Dunk Contest.

In the fan vote in the East with 6,789,863 votes, Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets won, while in the West, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers won with 9,128,231 votes.

We know our editors have already received information from the U.S. about the NBA ALL STAR or Basketball All-Star Game who will play . The first five players will form the first five in the ALL STAR 2022 in Cleveland. The NBA has officially presented the results of the voting and there is no denying that we have some surprises, because in addition to the routinists, there will be a rookie in the starting lineup who has been waiting for this moment for a long time. The starters are the players who will go out in the starting fives, but we will know how these fives will look like in a few days, because it will not be a division of East and West.

From the Western Conference, the team captain selected was LeBron James (LA Lakers), while in the East the choice was Kevin Durant (Brooklyn Nets). Therefore, we repeat the situation from a year ago, in which these two men will choose the lineup. As before, fate does not favor Durant, who some time ago suffered an injury, which is unlikely to play in the upcoming NBA All-Star Game.

Players such as Stephen Curry (GSW), Nikola Jokić (Denver Nuggets), Ja Morant (Memphis Grizzlies) and Andrew Wiggins (GSW) will play in the Western Conference. Controversy may, and should, surround the selection of Wiggins, who will be making his first appearance in this endeavor and right away in the starting five. It is well known that fans can force their favorite player into the starting lineup and in this case it was no different. No one will convince me that Wiggins at the expense of, for example, Gobert is a fair solution. However Morant deserves recognition, as he deserved it more than enough.

In the East rather no surprises. DeRozan is happy to be in the top five, but we need to remember that he is playing the best regular season in his career and Bulls are currently in second place in their Conference. In light of the Atlanta Hawks’ current performance (12th in the table), only Trae Young may be questionable. Although in this case individual performances have been, in my opinion, rightly put above those of the team. Let’s remember, that Trae tries to pull Hawks in this season, as much as he can. I am satisfied with this choice.

Additional NBA coaches, however, nominated the following reserves:

Eastern Conference:

Jimmy Butler (Miami Heat),

Darius Garland (Cleveland Cavaliers),

James Harden (Brooklyn Nets),

Zach LaVine (Chicago Bulls),

Khris Middleton (Milwaukee Bucks),

Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics),

Fred VanVleet (Toronto Raptors).

Western Conference:

Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns),

Luka Doncić (Dallas Mavericks),

Rudy Gobert (Utah Jazz),

Draymond Green (Golden State Warriors),

Donovan Mitchell (Utah Jazz),

Chris Paul (Phoenix Suns),

Karl-Anthony Towns (Minnesota Timberwolves).

The NBA has accustomed us to major changes in various spheres of the organization. This time the NBA Rising Stars, which is the game of rookies and sophomores, has undergone a reconstruction. In addition to changes in the structure of the game, an additional tournament will also be held.

This year’s Rising Stars Weekend will be held at Rockert Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland. Part of the event is the standard NBA Rising Stars, which so far has meant a direct clash between the best rookies and sophomores. This year, however, the league has decided to do things differently.

The NBA Rising Stars 2022 will feature 28 players (12 rookies, 12 sophomores, 4 talented players from G League Ignite) who will make up to four teams. They will compete in the semifinals, which will not be limited in time. The winner will be guaranteed 25 points, while the first team to reach 50 points will win the finals to celebrate the NBA’s 75th anniversary.

The teams’ coaching staffs will be comprised of assistant coaches from the 2022 All-Star Game and NBA legends who have been named to the list of the 75 best players in history. They will select the teams through the now-famous draft system (Rising Stars Draft). More details on the coaches are expected to be announced by the league soon.
