The third place in the final table was taken by Lechia Gdańsk, who in the last round defeated Jagiellonia Białystok 2:0 after the goals of Karol Fili and Jarosław Kubicki. In the 58th minute, at 1:0, the guests could even, but the penalty throw was wasted by Jesus Imaz, who actually passed the ball to Dusan Kuciak. Eventually the defeat on the Baltic Sea cost Białystok’s fourth place and participation in the elimination of European cups.
