At the beginning of the meeting Dąbrowa played fast and after Moore actions. Dabrowa played well and their defense was better than an attack. The hosts felt better in such a game, who went out on the lead 6:3. Under the baskets, however, very active was Alexander Dziewa, who changed the situation in favour of the guests. However, they could not enjoy the lead for long. Silesia led to a draw, and after a while he recorded a 7:0 series, thanks to which he came out to the lead 16:11. Stewart showed that you can score 15 points in this game and Silesia escaped even for five points, but MKS at the end of this part of the game made up for the losses and after the counter finished by Andy Mazurczak they lost only 15:16.
The second half was well started by invisible so far Kyle Gibson, who quickly scored 5 points, to which also Andy Mazurczak answered with 5 points. The better team on the court were, however, in this quarter the guests, who slowly, using MKS’s defense mistakes, were building the advantage, which after a while was already double-digit. Thanks to Elijah Stewart’s trio in the last seconds of the first half the team from Wroclaw won 37:33.
The team led by coach Oliver Vidin had already 19 points advantage. The hosts, however, did not give up. After a while, Lee Moore stood on the line of free throws (interestingly, these were only the first MKS free throws in this match) and started 11:0 series, in which two basketball players scored. As many as 9 points were scored by Moore, and one accurate throw was made by Andy Mazurczak.
In the next third quarter the lead of coach Oliver Vidin’s team increased even to 10 points after “three” Michal Gabiński. Later Strahinja Jovanovic was also hit, and the guests were more and more confident. Mazurczak and Michal Nowakowski reacted with single actions, but that was definitely not enough. After 30 minutes it was 50:64.
The fourth quarter did not change much and after Kacper Gordon’s hit the advantage of Wrocław inhabitants increased even to 19 points. Later, however, with the 11:0 series, the Oakbarians reacted, which made them still in the game. Lee Moore scored 17 points for this, which he emphasized with an accurate throw from half of the final buzzer. However, it was not enough for well-playing guests. As in previous matches, the Dąbrowski players could not cope with the opponent’s under-burden player in defense. Today it was used in an exemplary way by Alexander Dziewa, who scored 26 points, scoring 11 out of 12 throws from the game. However, WKS Śląsk controlled the events on the court and did not allow any more. Eventually he won 88:82.
