Real Madrid won the final match of the Euroleague and received the title of Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul. This is a big surprise, as few people put their trust in Madrid before the Final Four. LUKA DONCIĆ and the company finally triumphed 85:80. Fenerbahce’s chase at the end of the match was slightly late. Real Madrid won against the defenders of title 85:80.
The MVP of the final tournament was Luka Doncía.
Fenerbahce’s great chase (including Bobby Dixon’s hits) and a series of real-world mistakes caused the match to be settled only in the last minute. However, after the next failed free “royal” player, a fatal mistake was made by the best player of the Turkish team in the match – Nicolo Melli. He jumped towards the rim instead of lying down. Conscious Trey Thompkins after an offensive gathering easily gained the most important points of the match.
It was supposed to be a rematch for last year’s semi-final and that’s how it happened. At that time, the Turkish team left Real with no illusions and won 84:75. Apart from a successful duo Sergio Llull-Jaycee Carroll, who scored 49 points in total, the team from Madrid had no other assets in the offensive, and Luka Donć, who did not score even a point in that match, was completely crushed. A year later it was completely different.
MVP REAL MADRID LUKA DONCIĆ

In Fenerbahka the Italian Nicolo Melli had an amazing day in the attack, who scored as many as 28 points. Nikola Kalinić fought in defence against Doncice and I think he was a bit missing from the offensive. Jan Vesely, who had problems with the fouls and scored only 3 points, was also completely disappointed by the outstanding semi-final.
However, it did not do much. Among his colleagues, only Brad Wanamaker (14 points 5 and 5 as. 3) was up to the task. It was evident that at decisive moments the Turkish team lacked leaders, who a year ago were Bogdan Bogdanović and Ekpe Udoh – on the occasion of the triumph in the most important European competitions. Both of them are no longer in Istanbul because they have moved to the NBA. Luigi Datome, an important point of last year’s Euroleague champion, also played less well.
However, 42 seconds before the end of the game, when leading Real 80:73, the match’s fate could have changed completely. The mistake in the form of loss was made by Doncot, who in addition falsely charged Wanamaker. For Slovenia it was the fifth offence, so he had to say goodbye to the dance floor (it is worth mentioning that Llul had also left for the limit of the foul earlier). Since then, Fenerbahce has started to make up for the losses. An important three of them came from Ali Muhammed, also known as Bobby Dixon, and they did it only 81:78 for the band from Madrid. But then the most important action came.
Melli responded with two points, but once again the fouled Causeur regained his postdoctoral status and determined the final score at 85:80 with two customs attempts from the line. This place was finally taken by Żalgiris Kaunas. The charges of Sarunas Jasikevicius defeated in the battle of bronze CSKA Moscow, 79:77.
