Bayern win the Club World Championship in the final. They complete six trophies in just over six months. The Bavarians repeated this achievement as FC Barcelona , who achieved the feat in 2009.
For the first time in his career, Lewandowski had the opportunity to play for the missing Club trophy in a World Cup. It was the cup and medal he did not yet have in his collection.
In an earlier match Bayern Munich played against Al Ahly . The match was a success and Robert’s performance was outstanding, as Bayern eliminated Al Ahly from Egypt (2-0) in the semi-finals after his two goals. With this victory he sealed the game in the final in Qatar.
The match for third place took place in Ar-Rajjan , in which Al Ahly Cairo won against favoured Palmeiras Sao Paulo in a penalty shootout 3:2 (before the series of “eleven” was 0:0).
Bayern was weakened in this final due to a positive test for the COVID-19 were missing Thomas Mueller , Leon Goretzka and Javi Martinez, as well as defender Jerome Boateng but this was missing for personal reasons .

It was only possible to take off at 23:59, but by then it was already a little too late. The plane was ready to leave after midnight . Bayern officials did everything to get permission from the authorities to fly, but to no avail, so the players and coaches spent the night on the plane.
The Bavarians started well with good play and attacks from the very beginning in this final and so in the 18th minute Joshua Kimmich scored a goal, but the referees decided that Lewandowski, who was offside, was absorbing the attention of the Tigres goalkeeper and the goal was not recognized.
Bayern did not stop sticking to the attack and so in the 35th minute great pressing by Gnabry in the rivals’ penalty area. There was a corner kick, a short pass and a powerful strike by Sane. The ball just scraped against the post.
After a first half in which Bayern had a clear advantage. The Munich players created a few chances, even scored an unconverted goal, but they certainly could have done more. Tigres tried to attack but ineffectively. The most important thing for now was to improve defensively.
The second half started with Bayern Munich pressing all over and attacking aggressively because already in the 52nd minute Ajj, Gnabry! The German got a good pass from Alaba, fooled the defenders and hit a technical strike towards the far post. He made a very slight mistake. Here should have been a goal a good 100 percent action.
Today we had already burned and the referee did not recognize the goal, but finally we lived to see the goal for victory in the 59th minute scored Benjamin Pavard. After Kimmich’s pass Lewandowski jumped to the ball, but goalkeeper Nahuel Guzman stopped the Polish striker, but Pavard reached the ball and put it in the net. In the 77th minute, Costa’s good action on the right wing, but the pass did not find its addressee. Tigres are clearly tired, because in the last minutes they do not even try to attack. It is clear that this match is a big exhaustion for them.
The best action of the Bavarians had in the 81st minute could have been 2:0. The ball in front of the penalty area was recovered by Musiala, passed to Tolisso, and he hit without thinking. A mistake was made by goalkeeper Guzman and the ball finally stopped on the post
An unusual situation took place in the 85th minute , even curiosity. Salcedo played from 20 metres with his head to Guzman, but he missed the goal. The Tigres goalkeeper rushed with all his might and stopped the ball on the goal line!
Shortly afterwards, in the 86th minute, Choupo-Moting did well on the wing and laid the ball off to Costa. The latter had plenty of space and time and from 10 meters in front of the goal hit the ball with all his strength, but instead of looking and passing to a teammate he only hit the Tigers goalkeeper Guzman.
