For the last nine years, the “European” NBA match has been hosted by London. In January this year Washington Wizards defeated the New York Knicks there and 19,000 tickets were distributed within an hour.
Paris will host the NBA basketball match for the first time in history. On 24th January 2020 in the French capital there will be a meeting between Charlotte Hornets and Milwaukee Bucks – said the organizers.
Every year the NBA basketball league moves to Europe for a moment. It plays here one match for points and returns to the United States. In recent years, the European NBA match has been played in London. In 2020, however, the players will move to Paris.
Charlotte Hornets’ game against Milwaukee Bucks in Bercy Hall in Paris, scheduled for 2020, will be a double holiday for European NBA fans. French fans will not only see their idols. The Paris NBA match will also be the first ever French league match in which clubs will play for points. So there will be no discount, just a fierce battle between the teams to bring the points to the United States.
There are nine French players in the NBA league. No other European country has so many of them in the American-Canadian competition.
