Sevilla, after an extremely even and fierce match against AS Roma, won in a penalty shootout 4-1 . The game lasted more than 90 minutes and we watched extra time as it was 1-1 in the Europa League final in Budapest and Sevilla won the trophy for the seventh time .

Sevilla beat Roma after a penalty shootout to claim their seventh trophy. Jose Mourinho suffered his first defeat in a European cup final. It was nearing midnight when the eleven-goal contest began at the Puskas Arena. Gianluca Mancini shot right down the middle, straight into the legs of Bono, and Roger Ibanez hit the post
2′ Pellegrini’s centring shot from a free kick. Ibanez and Gudelji collided heads and the collision could have hurt. Doctors already on the pitch.
4′ Sevilla tried to break down the right side of the pitch. Matić didn’t stick with Torres and interrupted his rivals’ action.
7′ Abraham, in a somewhat eccilibristic manner, tried to play the ball to Dybala. Bade was on the post and knocked the ball out.
10′ Very much a battle in midfield for now. The players of both teams are not putting their feet up. We’re waiting for the first sub-field actions.
12′ Spinazzola! That should have been a goal for Roma! However, a great intervention was shown off by Bono. A brilliant positional attack by the Italians.
21′ Sevilla still without even a single shot. Patricio completely unperturbed for now. On the other hand, Bono already had to show his skills once and he did it brilliantly. Meanwhile, a yellow card for Matić, which was met with protests from the Roma players.

In the 83rd minute, Belotti got the ball ‘to finish’, but he hit a foul and the ball went past the post. The first half of the final was solidly extended, and it was much the same in the second half, with the English arbiter adding as much as six minutes.
Sevilla’s players fired three shots in added time, but the ball found no way into the net. Roma failed to create any more chances and extra time was needed – for Sevilla for the third time in its history of appearances in LE finals. At the start of extra time, Polish representative Nicola Zalewski appeared on the pitch.

87′ Although the Spanish team has the advantage, Rui Patricio did not have to intervene too often. Nevertheless, Roma are doing quite well in defence.
